Medline India is seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer / Quality Analyst with 5–7 years of experience in testing web-based applications and APIs. This role requires strong expertise in manual test case design, functional testing, and stakeholder collaboration across the software development life cycle.
You will work closely with global business stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams, ensuring quality at every stage—from requirements to post-deployment validation. While the role focuses primarily on manual testing, exposure to automation tools and frameworks is considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities Of Quality Analyst Job In Pune
As a Quality Analyst at Medline India, you will:
- Perform functional testing of complex web applications and API-based systems.
- Write, review, and maintain detailed manual test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Participate in requirement gathering and grooming sessions with global business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts (BAs) to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and resolve ambiguities.
- Execute testing across multiple environments, including Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Log, track, and manage defects through closure using tools such as Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
- Create, update, and manage test cases within test management tools such as Zephyr or equivalent.
- Support QA activities during deployments and conduct post-deployment verification.
- Maintain and continuously improve testing processes, standards, and documentation.
- Work independently while effectively communicating risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
Work Experience & Skills Of Quality Analyst Job In Pune
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- 4+ years of hands-on manual testing experience, with strong focus on web applications and APIs.
- Expertise in functional testing, test case design, and test execution.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and global teams.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
- Ability to manage QA responsibilities independently across different stages of the SDLC.
- Experience creating test cases from user stories and business requirements.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and testing.
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript (preferred).
- Experience in service automation or UI automation using Selenium and Java is a strong plus.
