Candidates must have:

For E&T:

• Matriculation (10th Pass)
• Diploma (Minimum 3 years) in Electronics Engineering

For Mechanical:

• Matriculation
• Diploma (Minimum 3 years) in Mechanical Engineering

For Electrical:

• Diploma (Minimum 3 years) in Electrical Engineering

📝 Selection Process Of NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2026

Eligible candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria as on the Crucial Date, as specified in
this Notification, will be required to appear for a Computer Based Test. The selection will be
based on a candidate’s relative score in the Computer Based Test.

Candidates will be allowed to appear in the Computer Based Test merely on the basis of their
declaration regarding their eligibility as mentioned in the online application form. Scrutiny/
Verification of the claims of the candidate(s) of their eligibility for a post applied will be done
post declaration of results of the Computer Based Test. Such scrutiny/ verification will be done
only for those candidates who shall pass the Computer Based Test as per the laid down cut-off
marks (Minimum Qualifying Marks).

CBT Pattern:

• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 90 Minutes
• Section A: 70 Technical Questions
• Section B: 30 General Knowledge & Aptitude Questions
• 1 mark per question
• No negative marking
• Bilingual paper (Hindi & English)

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• UR/EWS: 50 marks
• SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/ESM: 40 marks

Merit list will be prepared based on CBT scores and document verification.
