Job Description (GenC):
Cognizant’s GenC role involves understanding business requirements, developing and testing software, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
✔ Understand business requirements and raise clarifications
✔ Develop, maintain, test, debug & deploy code
✔ Create documents and low-level design for components
✔ Participate in Agile development processes & SDLC
✔ Identify and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
✔ Troubleshoot & resolve issues proactively
✔ Collaborate with team members on technical discussions
✔ Continuous upskilling & reskilling
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills required
Eligibility Criteria:
✔ 2025 batch B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech students
✔ Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (No rounding off)
✔ No standing arrears at the time of joining
✔ CGPA → % conversion as per university norms
✔ Students with arrears are NOT eligible
✔ Must be willing to work from any Cognizant office in shifts
✔ Open to Indian Nationals / OCI residing in India
✔ Must use personal email ID throughout the hiring process

✔ Industry accredited certificates (if available)
Documents Required – Interview:
✔ All academic mark sheets (X, XII, UG, PG)
✔ Provisional / Degree certificate
✔ College ID (if available)
Documents Required – Onboarding:
✔ PAN Card (must match full name)
✔ Voter ID / Passport (for citizenship verification)
