About the Senior Software Engineer Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer (Front-End) at NiCE, you will play a critical role in designing and developing a multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS platform as part of the R&D team. You will work in a cloud-first environment, leveraging modern front-end technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, along with exposure to .NET and AWS.
This role goes beyond writing UI code—you will contribute to architectural consistency, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver highly scalable, high-performance user interfaces used by enterprise customers worldwide.
How You Will Make an Impact
In this role, you will:
- Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, including design, development, unit testing, bug fixing, and deployment.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.
- Ensure consistent implementation of architectural principles and design patterns throughout development.
- Develop a strong understanding of product goals, customer requirements, and market needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX designers, R&D engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless, integrated features.
- Build and enhance scalable front-end solutions for multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to improving performance, maintainability, and user experience.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies in a fast-evolving environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills For Senior Software Engineer:
To succeed as a Senior Software Engineer at NiCE, you should have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute.
- 4–7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Angular
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3
- Good-to-have experience with .NET and SQL, with readiness to learn and work on .NET backend applications.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into front-end applications.
- Exposure to scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions, particularly in UI/front-end development.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and common design patterns.
- Experience developing applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
